I have looked for videos and found one regarding transition logic, but it doesn't seem to apply.Carbonite Black Solo is packed full of features that deliver incredible video production horsepower in an amazingly compact and affordable package.ĭynamic and creative capabilities include DVE functions, auxiliary buses, media stores, MiniME's, integrated MultiViewers, production software tools, advanced chroma keying, a range of I/O types, 8 keyers including an Ultrachrome chroma keyer, assignable frame sync and format convertors, and device control make even the smallest productions look big. All are playing back in the same frame buffer. I have tried putting GFX on different layers as well. The transition is indicated in the sequence but there is still just a "take" in playback.

I have tried adding transitions in the UI where I add text to the templates. I don't have a super deep knowledge of Xpression but a solid understanding of Carbonite and TD. I am using Xpression CG, playing back lower 3rds into Carbonite / Touch Drive Media Players via Custom Controls. Then load that image sequencer as you would normally into a Carbonite Media Store. XPression > Sequencer > Take Item > Right Click > Export to Video > Export as TGA Sequence

If you just want to use your XPression transitions/wipes in Carbonite, what you can do is export the XPression graphics to a TGA/PNG sequence and load that into the Carbonite Media Store as a animation.

If you want animated graphics you need to upgrade to XPression Studio and upgrade your hardware to have an SDI output. The RossLinq framebuffer does not support animations. XPression is using something called the RossLinq framebuffer, which is FTP'ing a still of the graphic directly into the Carbonite Media Store. If so, that is single frame only, no animations.
